Pet Partners

Pet Partners is a Bellevue-based nonprofit organization dedicated to improving human health and well-being through the human-animal bond. It provides education, evaluation, certification, and insurance for therapy animal teams. Its programs support volunteer visits with therapy animals in healthcare facilities, schools, veterans’ centers, workplaces, and other community settings across the United States and internationally.

In Business Since 1977

Pet Partners traces its origins to 1977, when the Delta Foundation was formed in Portland, Oregon. The organization later became Delta Society in 1981 and formally changed its name to Pet Partners in 2012. Today, it continues its work as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on therapy animal programs, volunteer teams, education, standards, and the human-animal bond.
